The U.S. announced that starting early November, it will require proof of full vaccination from all foreign arrivals. There will be a few exceptions to the rule, including children not yet eligible for a vaccine. Details of the new policy are still being decided. But it looks like for Taiwan, it could spell an end to vaccine tourism.

In early November, we’ll be putting in place strict protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 from passengers flying internationally into the United States by requiring that adult foreign nationals traveling to the United States be fully vaccinated.
As for which vaccine brands will be accepted for entry, the White House says that will be decided by the Centers for Disease Control.
