Spotlessly clean glass may be satisfying to look through, but it can also be a hazard. A breakfast shop owner in Kaohsiung learned that the hard way after accidentally smashing her head into her own shop’s crystal-clear glass door. Distracted while checking an order she was handing to a food delivery driver, she walked straight into the door, cracking the glass with the impact. The accident was caught on her security camera. Let’s find out more.

I was taking the delivery out to the driver so I didn’t notice. It’s hilarious. What am I like? I put up this sign today.

The doors were slid onto the same spot, so she didn’t notice.

“I’m a glass door.” She must have just put that sign up. The glass is so clean.

Commenting on incident
It was regular 5mm-thick glass. The chance of it cracking is quite small, but it depends on how hard you strike it. It might have had defects.

Lala has taken the incident in stride, as she only suffered a minor scratch on her forehead. She jokes that she wouldn’t be surprised if the kung fu masters from the Shaolin Temple dropped by to recruit her for her extraordinarily hard head. The breakfast shop has been open for just over half a year, and its owner says she never expected a video of her breaking the door to go viral, let alone breaking it with her iron head.
