As for the deadliest forms of cancer, the top 10 has not changed, with lung, liver, and intestinal cancers coming in at first, second, and third for the 22nd year in a row.Following malignant tumors at number one, heart disease came in at second place and pneumonia was third. The top ten causes of death are essentially the same as last year’s report, with the only change being kidney disease going from 9 in 2025 to 8 this year. Last year 5,980 people died from kidney disease, resulting in a 5.3% increase.
