Sometimes being too excited can cause you to make big mistakes. That’s a lesson for a fan of the K-pop group TWICE, who was as stoked as can be ahead of the girl group’s concerts in Taipei. The Keelung resident had gone to a convenience store to pick up her valuable concert ticket, which had been almost impossible to secure. But her joy quickly came to an end, because when she got home, she realized that she had lost the ticket somewhere along the way. It must have been her lucky day as the ticket was found by none other than a city councilor. Let’s hear what happened.
Chen Ming-chien
Keelung City Councilor
I thought it was a train ticket. I thought it might be for that very day, or for the coming days. I felt bad that the buyer wouldn’t be able to get on the train. But when I looked, I saw it had a row and seat number. I didn’t know whose concert it was, but I’ve heard of Tzuyu. I thought the person who lost the ticket must’ve been devastated.
The fan was over the moon after collecting the ticket, and was walking on a cloud as she went home. Only for it all to come crashing down once she realized her mistake. Fortunately, Keelung City Councilor Chen Ming-chien found the ticket and took it to a police station. Officers checked surveillance footage and were able to get the ticket back to its rightful owner, who after all, will get to see her idols on stage.
