A driver got the shock of his life in Pingtung, when a chunk of metal came crashing against his car’s windshield out of nowhere. The incident happened on Section 3 of Zhongzheng Road in Donggang. Let’s watch how it went down.

It happened so suddenly. I saw a black thing flying over and it crashed against the glass in front of the front passenger seat. It was smashed up. Now I finally know what it means to be struck dumb. If it was a little to the side, or if the piece were bigger, it could’ve been the end.

Mr. Fang was driving his car northward when an oncoming car with an unknown license plate ran over a piece of metal, which was catapulted against his windshield. The glass was shattered but nobody was injured. Police contacted a repair shop to fix the windshield and helped Mr. Fang continue on his way.

Videos of the incident show there was nobody on the side of the street who could’ve thrown the metal at the car. The only moving thing is several passing vehicles. It is thought that the piece of metal was on the asphalt and got flung into the air by an oncoming vehicle. Police say they will continue reviewing the footage to clarify the cause of the incident.
