A kid’s playground paradise is set to open its doors in Kaohsiung this weekend, just in time for Father’s Day. The project has been in the works for two years, revamping a historic railway maintenance depot into a must-visit site for families.

The former Kaohsiung Railway Workshop has a new lease on life as the country’s largest semi-indoor playground. The fun spans over 1.5 hectares, dotted with more than 30 attractions for all ages. The park itself is a feast for the eyes, preserving the industrial architecture of the original site. The highlights include the first cloud-themed bouncing area in Taiwan, a parkour course for kids and plenty of climbing and bouldering walls. What’s best, is that it’s all free of charge.
