A Brazilian traveler had just arrived at the airport with his 7-year-old son when he got distracted by a phone call. While he spoke on the phone, the child played around in the vicinity, but somehow ended up climbing over a fence near an escalator and fell into the void. People who saw the boy falling down were shocked, but fortunately, he was caught by the safety net. He stayed in the net for around 10 minutes until firefighters arrived and got him out. The parent and child were reunited, and were able to catch their flight. The airport used the incident as an opportunity to remind travelers to keep an eye on their kids at all times.
