Hollywood actor Sung Kang, known for his roles in the "Fast and Furious" franchise and "Weekend in Taipei," is back in Taiwan! But he is not here to promote a new movie. This time, he’s in Taipei to attend a friend’s wedding, and more importantly, to take part in a charity event at MacKay Children’s Hospital. He got plushies for every kid who was staying in the hospital, sending warmth and good vibes for belated Lunar New Year blessings.

Hollywood star Sung Kang is back in Taiwan after a year. His first stop was a household registration office, to serve as witness for the marriage of his friend, Makoto Tsai, known for his masterfully handcrafted lightsaber.

Kang is instantly recognizable in his medium-length wavy hair, despite his casual outfit. It’s clear that he knows his way around Taipei, judging from the way he enters without hesitation, a not-so-busy fast food restaurant across the street afterwards. But his friend’s marriage isn’t his only itinerary on this trip.

Kang enthusiastically high-fives healthcare workers at MacKay’s Children Hospital. It’s his second visit. He’s prepared a whole cart of plushies to hand out to hospitalized kids. Everyone got theirs, even if they couldn’t get up from the bed, because Kang also went over to the wards to deliver the goodies.

Kang’s star power is undeniable. Even an infant, who probably has no idea who he is, couldn’t stop staring at him. Apart from the kids, Kang also handed out snacks to the hardworking medical team.
