Looking to enjoy the nice weather, one elderly man in Kaohsiung rode his electric unicycle while pushing his wife in a wheelchair. The entire scene was captured on video and went viral online. The two are retired schoolteachers, both in their 70s. The neighbors said he likes to exercise and is still relatively fit. However, the police said he broke traffic laws and would impose a fine.

There aren’t indicator lights. If he was going to turn, you wouldn’t know. He might hit someone. It’s also dangerous since there’s an older woman in the wheelchair who might fall.

Many of their neighbors saw the couple’s joyride that day. The grandpa often rides his electric unicycle around, sometimes carrying things or pushing his wife’s wheelchair. Since he likes to exercise, he’s even ridden the unicycle up Shoushan.
