Seventy-four-year-old pop legend Billie Wang surprised partiers when she appeared at a nightclub in Taipei’s Xinyi district recently by performing her new song, Afro Volcano. Seeing all the young people joining in her "volcano dance" and partying to her song brought tears to her eyes.

Sporting her signature “exploding” afro, pop legend Billie Wang recently surprised a Xinyi nightclub by joining in with the crowd.

At 74 years old, Wang is still dancing and singing with people less than half her age, looking right at home in the energetic nightclub.

- Are you happy tonight?
- Yes! They even sang louder than me.

No stranger to charming a crowd, the pop star has even started a dance challenge with her new song Afro Volcano.

The irresistible earworm has enticed many celebrities to try their hand at the “volcano dance,” including variety show king Woo Gwa, host and singer Lulu, influencer Chin Chen-ku, and Wang’s own son, Nick Chou. The legend is once again taking the music industry by storm, winning over a whole new generation of fans.
