The annual Yangmingshan Flower Festival is underway, lasting until March 15. With crowds expected to flock to the northern Taipei mountain, the city government has rolled out traffic control measures. The cherry blossoms are an annual must-see in Taipei, a visitor said, noting that it’s their fourth or fifth time visiting the national park to admire the spring blooms.

Tourists gather to admire the cherry blossoms, snapping photos and even dressing in traditional kimono attire. From cherry blossoms to azaleas and camellias, the festival offers a colorful variety of blooms. Beyond the famous Flower Clock, Pingjing Street is already bursting with cherry blossoms.
