Taiwanese tennis player Yen-hsu Lu scored an upset win against American Sam Querrey in the first round of the Miami Masters on Wednesday. Lu, who’s ranked 1,020th, defeated the World No. 61 in straight sets. This is Lu’s first win on the ATP tennis tour since October 2017.
In the second round of the Miami Masters, Lu will play top seed Daniil Medvedev of Russia, who’s currently ranked second in the world. Lu says he knows he’s up against a challenge, but that he’ll do his best and take it one point at a time.
