A claw machine shop at Chiayi’s Wenhua Road Night Market has set up a new game. While inside a transparent booth, the player has 15 seconds to grab as many NT$100 bills as they can. But they can only catch bills that are flying around in the air while the machine blows them up from the floor. Players give it their all, seeing how much money they can walk away with.

Money flies around inside the machine as a player tries to catch as many bills as they can before time runs out.

The boss cheers for the players, who get to keep all the cash they can grab.

- When the bills start flying, you need to pay attention and grab them, then hold onto the money.

Getting smacked in the face by money is a novel experience. The rules of the game are simple: After customers have won six items from claw machines, they get a ticket.

Staff pick one of these tickets from a box, and that person gets 15 seconds inside the machine to grab as much money as they can.
